Nicole A. McCarus

Nicole McCarus is an Associate at Waranch & Brown, LLC. She received her law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2004, where she was elected to the Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity. She earned a Certificate in Health Law and was an Associate Editor on MARGINS: Maryland's Law Journal on Race, Religion, Gender and Class. She has a strong interest in writing and is a certified proofreader. She is also certified by the Community Mediation Program to mediate disputes.

Ms. McCarus graduated with honors from Duke University in 1998. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Biology and Spanish. Prior to entering law school, Ms. McCarus worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in Atlanta, Georgia, as a Visiting Fellow at the National Center for Environmental Health in the Division of Birth Defects and Pediatric Genetics. She is an alumna of the Bryn Mawr School in Baltimore, Maryland.

Ms. McCarus is a member of the Baltimore County Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, and the American Bar Association.
