Nicole A. McCarus Nicole McCarus is an Associate at Waranch & Brown, LLC. She received her law degree from the University of Maryland School of Law in 2004, where she was elected to the Phi Delta Phi Honors Fraternity. She earned a Certificate in Health Law and was an Associate Editor on MARGINS: Maryland's Law Journal on Race, Religion, Gender and Class. She is certified by the Community Mediation Program to mediate disputes. Ms. McCarus graduated with honors from Duke University in 1998. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Biology and Spanish. Prior to entering law school, Ms. McCarus worked at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, in Atlanta, Georgia as a Visiting Fellow at the National Center for Environmental Health in the Division of Birth Defects and Pediatric Genetics.
